This lovely sentiment was spray painted at the headquarters of Kim E. Adkins, running for a state senate seat in Virginia.

Adkins is running against Virginia state Senator William Stanley Jr. (R-Franklin).

Stanley recently told the Washington Post that he was getting a concealed handgun permit after what he considered to be a threat from Andy Parker, whose daughter was recently gunned down on live television.

Late Tuesday, Parker allegedly sent this message to Stanley on Facebook: “I’m going to be your worst nightmare you little bastard.”

Stanley has received an A rating from the National Rifle Association.

“We are proud firearms owners, but I never felt the need for a concealed-carry permit until now,” Stanley said.

In response, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said state Sen. Bill Stanley…should “man up,” after Stanley told police he felt threatened by the message from the father of the slain reporter.
