Two Missouri Men Arrested For Online Threats To Shoot Blacks

A second Missouri man was arrested Wednesday after posting a threat against blacks online.
Northwest Missouri State Unversity freshman Connor B. Stottlemyre was taken to jail on suspicion of making a terrorist threat after in connection to a post stating, “I’m gonna shoot any black people tomorrow, so be ready.” He had not been charged as of Wednesday evening.
The post was reported to authorities by another NMSU student who saw it on the Yik Yak phone app. The app allows users to post threads that can be seen within a five-mile radius.
Stottlemyre is 19, the same age as Hunter Park, who was arrested earlier in the day for using the same app to state, “I’m going to stand my ground tomorrow and shoot every black person I see.”
