We note that short-fingered vulgarian Donald Trump (thanks Spy Magazine!) has mastered the rhetorical trick of accusing/not accusing a rival of a heinous crime:

“That’s a big problem because you don’t cure that … as an example: child molesting. You don’t cure these people. You don’t cure a child molester. There’s no cure for it. Pathological, there’s no cure for that.”

What’s brilliant about it is not the accusation (God, no!), but when the target of the accusation tries to deny it:
