Ben Carson, not surprisingly, doesn’t want the United States to take in refugees, comparing them to “rabid dog[s].”

Carson said it would be “foolish” to take them in at this point, and seemed to compare at least some migrants to rabid dogs in order to explain how terrorists could embed themselves in the crowd.

“If there’s a rabid dog running around in your neighborhood, you’re probably not going to assume something good about that dog,” Carson said. “And you’re probably going to put your children out of the way.”

Continuing his analogy, Carson said that though you might not “hate all dogs,” he said it it was intellectually sensible to “call the Humane Society” to place them into a safe environment.
