The Atlanta girl found a loaded handgun in her father’s apartment and shot and killed herself.
Demargo Smith, the child’s father, has been charged with reckless conduct following his daughter’s death shortly before 11 a.m., in the apartment on Martin Street SE in Atlanta, Georgia.
His six-year-old daughter, Ja’Mecca Smith, reportedly found the loaded handgun between sofa cushions and fired it at herself.
