…Cruz pushed back against the media coverage of the Planned Parenthood shooting today and made a pretty strong assertion about which party most violent criminals belong to.
Radio host Hugh Hewitt told Cruz that, given how some in the media have attempted to connect pro-life rhetoric to the shooting, he has never encountered a pro-life individual who would condone violence.
Cruz agreed and said whenever tragedy strikes, the media’s “salivating” and “hoping desperately that the murderer happens to be a Republican.”
And then he said, “Here’s the simple and undeniable fact: the overwhelming majority of violent criminals are Democrats. The media doesn’t report that.”
