Stanford alumnus Carly Fiorina posted this tweet before the school played Iowa in the Rose Bowl today: “Love my alma mater, but rooting for a Hawkeyes win today.” Nick Bromberg of Yahoo Sports is not a fan. “The reason is pretty transparent. The Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1,” Bromberg writes. “How many people from Iowa are dumb enough to vote for her because she’s rooting against her school in the Rose Bowl? The odds of it backfiring and people recognizing how insipid her tweet really is are much higher.”
