More than half Trump supporters think white people ‘losing out’

A Washington Post/ABC News poll conducted earlier this month asked: “Which of these do you think is a bigger problem in this country — blacks and Hispanics losing out because of preferences for whites, or whites losing out because of preferences for blacks and Hispanics?”
More than half of Trump supporters, 54 percent, thought white people losing out was a bigger problem. The share of Trump’s supporters who believed whites were losing out was 12 points higher than the share of all Republican
voters surveyed in the poll who believe this.Thirty-seven percent of Cruz supporters and 35 percent of Rubio/Kasich voters also said “whites losing out because of preferences for blacks and Hispanics” was a bigger problem.
