He had a slight moment of irritation there.

…Kasich, normally known for his even-keeled demeanor, lost his temper Saturday when asked how he could keep saying he could win against Democrat Hillary Clinton if he’s only won his home state’s primary.

In video of the exchange posted online, Kasich tells a thick scrum of reporters: “Listen, at the end of the day, I think the Republican Party wants to pick somebody who actually can win in the fall.”

But a reporter, identified by The Week as Financial Times journalist Demetri Sevastopulo, interjected to ask, “But if you’ve only won Ohio –”

“Can I finish?” Kasich said to the reporter.

“I’m answering the question the way I want to answer it,” Kasich fired back. “You want to answer it?”

The governor then snatched the reporter’s voice recorder out of his hand to ask “What do you think?”
