An announcement at a Trump rally tells the crowd that if they see protesters, hold a Trump sign over their head and chant “Trump! Trump! Trump!”
Yeah, that’s a little bit like telling a Lynyrd Skynyrd audience to signal the fire department by holding a can of beer and shouting “Play Freebird!” or the Secret Service telling Ted Cruz to warn them of danger by randomly pausing when he speaks. To be fair, it’s also just the sort of thing you’d expect from Team Trump.
