No charges will be filed against the parents of a three-year-old boy who found his father’s gun in his Dallas, Georgia, home and fatally shot himself. Holston David Cole died April 26 after shooting himself in the chest. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office called it a “freak accident” Thursday and said no criminal charges would be filed. “Could they have been charged? Sure they could’ve,” said Sgt. Ashley Henson.
