Trump spends night threatening Cory Booker, insulting ‘Pocahontas’
Donald Trump spent the first night of the Democratic convention playing the race card.
While the Democrats gradually got their unity on in Philadelphia, Trump fired off a series of lackluster tweets with mostly-familiar themes, but beginning with this weird veiled threat against New Jersey Senator and formerly buzzed-about Democratic VP contender Cory Booker:
If Cory Booker is the future of the Democratic Party, they have no future! I know more about Cory than he knows about himself.

He also spent his evening insulting Elizabeth Warren with his tired “Pocahontas” routine, and going after Bernie Sanders. He wants to get Sanders’ supporters to back him, but can’t understand that attacking Bernie isn’t the way to do it.
