The NRA jumped into the latest Trump fracas to support to support what Trump is saying about guns.

To review, there has been outrage all afternoon because Trump may or may not have been encouraging his followers to assassinate a former First Lady, senator, and Secretary of State before she could become President and appoint an anti-gun Supreme Court justice. The National Rifle Association tweeted, “@RealDonaldTrump is right.”

Sure, they didn’t say he was right that “Second Amendment people” could maybe do something about Clinton, but the optics here are still astoundingly bad to some respondents.
