This is how Ben Carson promotes the Trump candidacy.

Earlier this week, Kirk Cameron joined Ben Carson in his living room for a live “teleforum” for My Faith Votes, a Religious Right effort overseen by Carson that seeks to mobilize millions of Christians to vote in 2016. As with several of theprevious events, much of the focus was on attempting to convince reluctant conservative Christian voters to support Donald Trump in order to defeat Hillary Clinton, with Carson likening the decision to having to choose between getting a paper cut or “having both of your legs chopped off.”

“When you don’t vote, you are voting,” Carson said. “I know there are some people who say, ‘Well, you know, I’m a person of principle so I therefore cannot choose between the lesser of two evils.’ Well, I would say, ‘Would you like to have a paper cut?’ And you would say, ‘No, paper cuts hurt, that’s pretty bad.’ I would say, ‘How about getting both of your legs chopped off?’ Well, no, that hurts, that’s bad too. What if you had to choose between the two? I don’t think that would be a hard choice.”
