Donald Trump wants Colin Kaepernick to find a country that “works better for him.”

During an interview on the conservative radio show “The Dori Monson Show,” Trump said that he was up to speed on the firestorm Kaepernick kicked up when he refused to stand for the national anthem as an act of protest against police brutality.

“I have followed it and I think it’s personally not a good thing,” Trump said in the interviewflagged by Buzzfeed News. “I think it’s a terrible thing, and you know, maybe he should find a country that works better for him, let him try, it won’t happen.”

Kaepernick criticized both Trump and his opponent, Hillary Clinton, during a session with the press on Saturday, according to a transcript from USA Today.

“You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist,” Kaepernick told reporters. “We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?”
