Racist message board fueling traffic to Trump website
It’s called 8Chan, and it’s the site from which came the image of Hillary Clinton with a six-pointed star.
The content is so often vile that Google doesn’t even link to 8Chan itself in the results if a person searches for it.
Today, Vice reported that an analytics firm called Similar Web shows that 8Chan is one of the top 10 referrers to Donald Trump‘s campaign site. Since Trump’s campaign reposted that six-pointed star meme, this sort of makes sense.

Still, because Trump has been tasked for months with disavowing the white nationalism his campaign seems to attract, this isn’t ideal for him. It just doesn’t look good…
The amount of referrals Trump’s site is getting from the forum is increasing, too. The referrals increased by about 580% from June through July.
It continues to not look good.
