The Trump campaign seems like a grifting operation to benefit Trump’s businesses.

…Trump’s campaign has paid his family’s businesses more than $8.2 million during the course of his White House bid, according to a new analysis.

Payments to Trump businesses comprise about 7 percent of the campaign’s total $119 million spending, Politico reported Thursday, citing campaign finance filings.

Trump’s campaign paid his businesses $1.3 million for services including rent for his campaign offices, $544,000 for food and facilities for meetings and events, as well as $333,000 to Trump corporate employees for help with campaign-related services, the report said.
