Police: Trump supporters celebrated in KKK garb
Connecticut state police confirm that a Donald Trump celebration in East Windsor featured celebrants in KKK garb.
Following the election, video began circulating on social media that showed people driving ATVs and partying around a fire. One person is seen wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat while another person wearing a hooded KKK costume waves a Trump campaign flag.

Although it was first believed that the video was filmed in Stafford, State Police spokesperson Trooper Kelly Grant confirmed on Monday that it was taken in East Windsor.
A spokesperson for the Stafford First Selectman’s office revealed that at least one person from Stafford attended the party, but that person told authorities that “they unequivocally denounce the KKK looking costume.”
East Windsor First Selectman Robert Maynard told WTIC that police plan to speak with the “kids” involved.
“From what I could tell, they were just reacting to the election,” Maynard explained. “They were just having a party.”
