Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) on Sunday rejected President Donald Trump’s attack on the federal judge who halted his travel ban, saying there are only “real judges,” not “so-called judges.”
“We don’t have any so-called judges, just real judges,” Sasse told ABC’s “This Week.”
Trump early Saturday attacked Judge James Robart after the federal judge issued a restraining order that put a nationwide halt on Trump’s executive order.
“The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

“I’ll be honest, I don’t understand language like that. We don’t have so–called judges. We don’t have so-called senators. We don’t have so-called presidents,” Sasse said.
