TV behaving badly: Sunday show lowlights, July 23 ’17
This morning on CNN, former Trump adviser Jack Kingston went after Republican voters who disagree with the repeal of Obamacare using a favorite term that used to be directed at poverty-level blacks, saying they are addicted to “free stuff.”
On CNN’s State of the Union, Jake Tapper took Trump’s new mouthpiece Anthony “Mooch” Scaramucci to the woodshed for pretending there was no Russian interference in Election 2016.
Tapper and that “Giant of the Senate” Al Franken had a good laugh over the mealymouthed Mooch’s misinformation.
Over on ABC’s This Week, Trump team attorney Jay Sekulow is pretending that pardons are irrelevant because there is nothing to pardon.
.@JaySekulow to @ThisWeekABC: “The issue of pardons is not on the table. There’s nothing to pardon from.” https://t.co/P0A5my1P1C pic.twitter.com/DBFG7snifa

Meanwhile, “Mooch” showed up on FOX News Sunday, and he’s Trump’s super-plumber!
He did the same on CBS’s Face the Nation after some mealy-mouthed obfuscation about Trump’s pardon talk (“leak… er, tweet” – very telling):
GOP veteran Rick Wilson tweeted a notable analysis of Mooch’s FTN appearance:
On @FaceTheNation Scaramucci is clearly the de facto Chief of Staff.
Tick tock on Reince getting VERY loud now.
