Stromy Daniels’s attorney, Michael Avenatti, was a guest on today’s edition of Morning Joe, and released a bombshell series of one-word answers in reply to questions from Mika Brzezinski. Th bottom line: his client, adult film actress and producer Stormy Daniels, was physically threatened over a non-disclosure agreement she signed in connection with an alleged (read: pretty damned certain at this point) affair she had with then-TV star Donald Trump.
MIKA: Was she threatened in any way?
AVENATTI: Yes.
MIKA: Was she threatened physical harm?
AVENATTI: Yes.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Oh wow! Keep going, Mika. Davos — I mean we started this —
MIKA: What do you mean — was her life threatened?
AVENATTI: Again, I’m not going to answer that. People will have to tune into 60 Minutes on March 25th.
MIKA: [talking over JOE]: There’s probably so much more here —
JOE: Well now, so, so, so, ex, what can you tell us about the physical threats.
AVENATTI: I can’t tell you anything beyond what I’ve said, again —
JOE: Can you tell us if it came directly from the president?
AVENATTI: I’m not going to answer that,
JOE: Will you deny that the president of the United States threatened your client?
AVENATTI: I will not confirm or deny.
