Why Biden entered the prez race like a total boss
It’s official. Earlier this morning, former vice president Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign like a boss with a YouTube video that draws a definitive line in the sand.
Biden’s decision to take aim at the neo-fascists and white nationalists who invaded Charlottesville for their so-called “Unite the Right” thugfest — and Donald Trump as their enabler and apologist — is a dominant and strong move.
We like it.
Biden in effect gets in the face of Trump’s most bilious loyalists — and lays out an early and effective line of demarcation that is likely to appean not only to suburban coastal voters but fence-sitters in the Rust Belt and heartland.
And for those who believe that Biden is late to the game, don’t forget that Trump made his announcement in June 2015.
