Former NSA Chief’s Private Conversation Tweeted Out

Michael Hayden was giving an “off the record” interview badmouthing the Obama administration while riding the Acela from Washington to New York. The super-spy was super-overheard by a liberal blogger.
Tom Matzzie, a one time occasional blogger for the Huffington Post who now runs a renewable energy company, was sat behind Hayden as he spoke to the unnamed journalist ‘on background’ – meaning the reporter was not to cite him by name, instead quoting a ‘former senior administration official’.
Evenutally Hayden was alerted to the real time reporting and towards the end of his series of micro-blogs Matzzie posted a picture of the two men together, smiling.
