Meeting Of The Alleged Minds: Cruz To Visit Trump In NYC

Ted Cruz is scheduled to visit Donald Trump Friday in Trump Tower, sources told POLITICO.
The Texas senator is already heading to New York for a fundraising swing, and a source said he tacked on a 2 p.m. meeting with the businessman.
A spokeswoman for Trump confirmed the meeting.
“Mr. Trump is a friend and the senator had some down time in NYC,” a Cruz spokeswoman said.
Trump and Cruz have spoken by phone a few times since meeting in August at the Family Leader summit in Iowa, a source said, including during the government shutdown.
