Mother Of Three Shot And Killed By Woman Upset By Football Game Loss
Adrian Laroze Briskey, 26 (pictured) is charged with killing Michelle Shepherd at an Iron Bowl watch party.
Police say both women were attending an Iron Bowl party at the Summercase at Riverchase apartment complex in Hoover on Saturday, Nov. 30. They did not know each other prior to the party, according to officials.
Authorities say Briskey and Shepherd got into an argument after the game and the fight moved into the parking lot near the 1600 building. Briskey allegedly shot Shepherd with a small caliber handgun just after 7 p.m. Witnesses say Shepherd was shot three times.
Shepherd died in the parking lot and Briskey was taken into custody at the scene. Briskey is in the process of being transferred from the Hoover City Jail to the Shelby County Jail. Her bond is set at $75,000.
