Eagle Snatches Camera, Becomes Cinematographer
Now there’s footage you don’t see every day!
An eagle in Australia made sure to get some face time with a camera that was set up to record crocodiles along a river in Australia.
A group of rangers placed a camera along the Margaret River along the country’s southwestern tip in May, but it soon went missing.
Ranger Roneil Skeen told ABC News they first thought the camera went missing but then found it a few weeks ago laying 110 kilometers, about 63 miles, away.
The answer to the mystery of what happened was on film.
A one-minute video shows an eagle swooping in, picking up the camera and flying it to a rocky location where it starts to peck at it.
