Finally! Bristol Palin Weighs In On Phil Robertson
We can breathe easier now that the daughter of Sarah Palin has given her opinion, which is to “Leave Phil Robertson alone!” You hear that people? Now obey!
The 23-year-old mother-of-one has posted a photo of Robertson on her Facebook page with a caption that reads, “I support Phil Robertson and his right to express his faith and his beliefs. Shame on A&E.”
She also took to her blog to write a lengthy essay titled “Leave Phil Robertson Alone!” and stating, in part, “I think it’s so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style. This flies in the face of what makes America great – people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life. Everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love. It goes both ways.”
Bristol added, “They (the LGBT community) need to learn how to respect others’ opinions and not just jump to the conclusion that everyone who doesn’t support homosexuality and gay marriage is homophobic. They take the easy way out every time anyone speaks out about their beliefs on the Bible. If I were Duck Dynasty, I would take my show to another channel. So much disrespect.”
So, please, you people, show some respect for a man who likens gay sex to bestiality and who says gays are full of “murder, envy, strife, hatred.” Ignorant bigots need love, too.
