marc-mertzThere are many reasons it is not a good idea to walk around in your driveway nearly naked during mid-January. For one, there is the risk of exposure and hypothermia. Also, you might get arrested:

A Massachusetts forestry teacher was arrested Wednesday for allegedly flashing women from his driveway.

Marc Mertz, 44, reportedly stood in front of his house in Walpole, Mass., on Monday morning wearing nothing but goggles, a knit hat and a towel, police said.

The first woman who reported the scene to police said Mertz had ditched the towel and was completely naked when she drove by a second time, according to MyFoxBoston.

Later that day, another woman said she saw a towel-less Mertz. She said he started to “gyrate his body” toward his mailbox when she drove by, Dep. Chief John Carmichael told MyFoxBoston.

Mertz, who teaches at Norfolk Country Agricultural High School, was cuffed Wednesday afternoon on charges of open and gross lewdness and disturbing the peace. He has reportedly been placed on administrative leave from work.
