John Boehner Gets His Name Wrong
The Speaker referred to himself as “Boner” by mistake.
His verbal flub happened after a reporter mistakenly called Boehner “Mr. Camp,” a reference to Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.).
“Mr. Camp, I mean, sorry, Mr. Speaker,” the reporter said, as he prepared to ask Boehner about tax reform.
“….Boner, boner,” said Boehner, who tried to correct the reporter, which drew a heavy bout of laughter.
