Boehner: ‘Republicans Will Continue To Work To Repeal This Law’
Of course, by “this law,” House Speaker John Boehner means Obamacare. Never mind that projected signup numbers are being surpassed. Never mind that more and more Americans are supporting the law. All Republicans know is that It Must Be Stopped!
“House Republicans will continue to work to repeal this law and protect families and small businesses from its harmful consequences, and that’s why we’re taking action this week to repeal the law’s 30-hour rule that has become a significant barrier to job growth and higher wages. We will also continue our work to replace this fundamentally-flawed law with patient-centered solutions focused on lowering health care costs and protecting jobs.”
The 30-hour rule means that 30 hours or more per week represents full-time employment, and so Republicans would like to strip workers of heath insurance if they fall in that category.
