Dick Cheney Returns to Capitol To Offer Foreign Policy Advice
Rep. Steve Scalise invited former vice-president and gun safety expert Dick Cheney to offer foreign policy advice to a group of House conservatives at the Capitol on Wednesday. Cheney denounced President Obama’s foreign policy and urged the congressmen to resist a rising tide of isolationism during his 90-minute appearance. Cheney received multiple ovations.
“He was back in his old stomping grounds and it was great to see him,” said Scalise, the chair of the conservative Republican Study Committee (RSC).
