The apartment where I grew up and where my brother still lives is about a mile and a half east from the Capitol. Like most of those precints east of Capitol Hill where the majority of full-time residents live, the President carried over 90% of the vote in my old neighborhood.
Forget about drone strikes. If these right wingers actually believe that the President as a consummate politician would risk the safety of a voting bloc which is guaranteed to support Democrats by a 9 to 1 margin, they are indeed out of their ever lovin minds.
