The isolated country’s state news agency, KCNA said the president was “reminiscent of a wicked black monkey.” The editorial was published in English as President Obama is touring Asia.

Another KCNA article from that same day — this one in Korean — took the ugliness even further. According to North Korea blogger Josh Stanton, the second story said Obama “should live as a monkey in an African natural zoo licking the breadcrumbs thrown by spectators.” The article also calls Obama a “crossbreed with unclear blood.”

Crazed diatribes are nothing new to KCNA, but as the Washington Post notes, it is rare for the agency to so outrageously savage a U.S. president. The newspaper explains that the articles highlight North Korea’s state ideology of racial purity, which leads to forced abortions or infanticide if defectors become pregnant outside Korea.

Despite North Korea’s defiant isolation, another recent diatribe in the state press shows some are paying close attention to U.S. politics. In response to a February U.N. report detailing “crimes against humanity” in North Korea, Pyongyang released its own report calling the U.S. “the world’s worst human rights abuser.” Citing NSA surveillance, unemployment and gun crime, the report boldly asserts that “the U.S. is a living hell.”

And, yet, isn’t Dear Leader’s bff a black American?

So the gop has an alli in N Korea. Perhaps Cruz, Perry and others in the gop would like to establish time shares, sounds like their kind of place.

    • fancypants May 8th, 2014 at 10:02 pm

GWB already has that title…pick another one

      • The Lochnar May 8th, 2014 at 10:04 pm

I’m using today’s lingo and not using it as a title.

that’s ok im stating facts w/o spreading fiction

      • BanditBasheert May 9th, 2014 at 1:04 pm

Since GWB wasn’t the actual President, I think History will tear Dick Cheney to shreds when he is judged. He was the President … Bush couldn’t even find the bathroom door.

        • Judy Mccracken May 9th, 2014 at 1:49 pm

We dont know about history as yet…… FOX, Beck, Limbaugh, as well as Bush/Cheney followers, are daily trying to rewrite or color their version of the crimes they commited against us & Iraq…

        • fancypants May 9th, 2014 at 5:12 pm

gwb did all the talking while cheney pulled the strings

When did the Tea Party take over in North Korea?

    • BanditBasheert May 9th, 2014 at 1:03 pm

If they TeaBigots tried to move to N. Korea, they’d be killed/disappeared very fast.

    Kim Jong-Pugsley replaces Putin as the GOP’s hero-and-role-model in 3… 2… 1…

    • Judy Mccracken May 9th, 2014 at 1:46 pm

I dont think they quite have given up on the bare chested, unstable, dictator Putin as yet… they havent seen little Kimmy on a horse yet… and that usually is the deciding factor if a leader is strong and decisive….. although, I dont think either of these two have a Congress they need to beg for anykind of action……

  7. fahvel May 9th, 2014 at 4:22 am

sounds like the us rwnj’s –

  8. Shades May 9th, 2014 at 7:48 am

Now that the tea baggers have found their new idol, maybe they’ll all move to N. Korea. They have more freedom, right Huckabee?

    • TanongSak June 18th, 2014 at 2:57 pm

They won’t have to. Given more time under the Obama regime, no one would be able to tell the difference.

  9. William May 9th, 2014 at 10:39 am

I see another bagger bro-mance blossoming. First there was Putin, then Bundy, then Sterling, NOW Kim.

    • Judy Mccracken May 9th, 2014 at 1:42 pm

lol…. great minds think alike…. I thought the same thing when I read the dear little rotund, leader ….. oh, oh.. another for the right wing leadership contest…… OMG, this is too funny.. can you see that line up on the campaign debate stage.. Putin, Bundy, Sterling, Kimmy & lets throw in Scalia for good measure…. yep, I like it?

  10. Tom Ward May 9th, 2014 at 12:31 pm

Can’t you guys just condemn NKorea for being the pathetic Nazi-like regime it is instead of trying to drag down half our own country along with them? I think most right wingers in this country are condemning this for the offensive racist garbage it is. Your comments might be doing more harm than good.

God, it’s like every single left winger on the internet had the exact same thought when they read this article and just couldn’t wait to post it regardless of whether it was true or not.

    • craig7120 May 9th, 2014 at 2:00 pm

Sad what the gop has become, uh Mr Ward? The lesson learned from this example is when Mr Nugent or other racist elements start spewing their views, speak against the racist, not against the people pointing out the racist next to you.

    • jasperjava May 11th, 2014 at 1:15 am

“I think most right wingers in this country are condemning this for the offensive racist garbage it is.”

Yeah, right. Whenever ANYONE makes a racist comment against the president, the silence from the Right is deafening. I find it more likely that the majority of right-wingers silently agree with the sentiment.

      • TanongSak June 18th, 2014 at 2:59 pm

We don’t have to agree. It’s the North Koreans that are agreeing with us. And, as much as you’d like to, there’s not a damned thing you can do about it.

  11. JamesMMartin May 10th, 2014 at 2:59 pm

Now that Kim Dun Wrong has used a common Southern white man’s epithet for all African-American peoples, the only question now is, will Dennis Rodman terminate his bromance with this tyrant and racist lunatic?
