Bowe Bergdahl’s Parents Receiving Threats
Federal Authorities confirm that Bob and Jani Berdgdahl are receiving threats. The nature of the threats are have not been announced.
We are working jointly with our state and local partners and taking each threat seriously,’ FBI Special Agent William Facer told CNN in an e-mail on Saturday.
The threats come in the wake of controversy coming from the families of soldiers who were killed while supposedly looking for Bergdahl, who is said to have deserted his post, which is what led to his capture by Taliban forces in 2009.
The family also was the center of controversy after Bob Bergdahl thanked Allah during the White House announcement about Bergdahl having been freed.
Critics of Bob Bergdahl say the Taliban was ‘thrilled’ when he ‘claimed the White House for Islam’ by thanking Allah in his press conference with President Obama, it has been claimed.
The father of the freed soldier – who former colleagues claim was a deserter – said he was speaking Arabic and Pashto because his son’s English was poor after five years in captivity.

This is simply shameful, I know of no parent that wouldn’t do anything to save their child. Much of the outrage is based on misinformation from less than ethical news sources and our own elected officials feeding into the reactionary behavior of a low percentage but very dangerous subset of the population.

And how many of those doing the threatening were spoon-fed garbage by Faux News? Slightly OT, but IMAO, Glenn Beck lost his Fox gig after Byron Williams, one of his viewers, planned a shooting spree at the Soro’s funded Tides Foundation AWA the ACLU. In an interview, Williams admits he was a big fan of Beck’s and, “It was the things he exposed that blew my mind.” Thankfully Williams was apprehended by sharp-eyed police officers before he could put his plan into action. I think the incident put a scare into Ailes/Murdock who decided they couldn’t risk Beck riling up another looney and let him go. I don’t think Fox could have been held legally responsible, but had there been a massacre, Fox may have never recovered from the bad publicity.
