I’ve been saying that for a long time, Mastermind Obewon. About 20 minutes or so ago I saw some FoxNews coverage – some blonde at the desk. She was making this sound like dreadful news and had a lineup of Republicans, all of whom looked as if they had just drank a jar of pickle juice, on to bemoan this latest development.
And by chance, I was catching up on my emails earlier and there’s one sending me a clip of Rep. Gowdy from South Carolina wondering why Obama hasn’t caught any of the perps.
Only one thing for the GOP to do now.
Have another vote to repeal Obamacare.

FNC’s the five audio rebroadcast sounds like they’re all stungun Zapped! “It could just be coincidence. Terrorists are not criminals. Terrorists go to Gitmo”-The Five’s Dana Perino GWB’s press secretary who famously flubbed her misconception of JFK’s Cuban missile crisis.
And from 2001—2010 the same period in which military commissions have convicted just 3 terrorists—criminal courts have convicted 200+ individuals on terrorism charges, or 65 times more than military commissions.
…It’s as if they “don’t recall” SCOTUS Roberts decree that any US base, boat, or plane is constitutionally identical to any US soil with habeas corpus rights for any criminal. @William FNC bobbleheads give blondes good cause for a class-action defamation of character lawsuit!

Unless I am misunderstanding international law, an embassy or mission is considered sovereign territory and strictly speaking not the territory of the host country.
That would mean the crime occurred on American soil.
In addition to the nauseating anti-Americanism on display from these right wingers, we are also treated to another sizeable injection of the hypocrisy that has become standard on the American right.
These ideologues who engage in non-stop rants about “getting back to the Constitution”, are apparently quite willing to ignore said Constitution which states in Article 3.
“”The trial of all crimes, except in cases of impeachment, shall be by JURY ; and such trial shall be held in the state where the said crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any state, the trial shall be at such place or places as the Congress may by law have directed.””
Maybe there are some conservatives out there who are not psychotic, unAmerican hypocrites. If they are out there, clearly they are a shrinking minority.
