All those good guys with guns who were enjoying playing with guns at a gun range were no match for bad guys with guns, like bad guy Jeffrey Chandler.

Officials say Chandler, who stands 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, has numerous tattoos on both arms. The most distinctive tattoo is the word – “Stretch” – located on his right hand, they say.

Investigators say Chandler fired the shot that wounded one of the victims.

Chandler’s alleged accompolice, 21-year-old Samiyyah Poteat turned herself in to authorities on June 13 after seeing herself in surveillance video of the crimes.

She faces multiple charges including attempted homicide, robbery and aggravated assault.

Officials say Poteat and Chandler were involved in two holdups at two different gun ranges — the first at Yury’s Gun Range in Philly’s West Poplar neighborhood and the second at the Delaware Valley Sports Center in the city’s Bustleton neighborhood.

No responses to Gun Range Customers Robbed Of Guns At Gun Range Where There Were Lots Of Guns

Another fervent right wing belief is contradicted by events in the real world.

It was not a good guy with a gun who was instrumental in apprehending the criminals. It was a good guy with a camera. All you firearm fetishists with your sarcasm about gun free zones being an invitation to criminals, now do you see the gaping hole in your logic, and I use the term loosely.

Police officers are killed in the line of duty every year. They were good guys with guns. Criminals will do what criminals do regardless of how many guns the “good guys” have, and Uncle Joe packing heat at the mall is not going to stop them.

For those of you who are completely opposed to owning firearms, remember this story the next time so NRA fanatic starts spouting their usual talking points. And tell them you will be happy to put up their stupid NO GUN sign as long as the sign also says VIDEO CAMERA FEED DIRECT TO LOCAL POLICE 24X7.

arc99, I guess what I see is that good guys with guns did exactly what “the right” says they do. Acted like normal people. They didn’t start an old-west cowboy gunfight. They got robbed and weren’t willing to risk their own life, or kill somebody just to protect their wallet. This is the point – bad guys aren’t going to follow the rules. So more laws aren’t going to stop them. And good guys with guns are no threat, so why try to make laws to take their guns away?

Since very few are talking about repeal of the 2nd amendment, this liberal gun owner has no idea what you are talking about when you make accusations about taking guns away.

Let’s start by ignoring the people who were proven to be completely wrong by this example. Then cut out the intellectually dishonest rhetoric about taking guns away. Eliminating the option to be able to fire 30 rounds before needing to reload is not taking anyone’s gun away.

…so why try to make laws to take their guns away? RUN.

Beware: Owning a personal arsenal apparently gives one a false sense of security.

This is what happens when a bunch of “good guys with guns” get together.
