Artillery Fired Into House From Gun Show
A 14-inch artillery shell wound up in an Oklahoma house that came from a gun show 3 miles away.
The homeowner, Gene Kelley, said he heard a large crash inside his home. “It’s unbelievable,” Kelley said. “Unless you were here to see it or see the pictures I’ve got, you would not believe how huge this thing is.”
According to KOAM, a 105 howitzer artillery shell, 14 and a half inches long and 3 and a half inches across, was lying on his bedroom floor. It entered from the outside wall, hit the ceiling, and damaged another wall, all while he and his wife were home.
Kelley said, “Fortunately, nobody was hurt.”
According to homeowners in the area, if the shell had not first hit a tree limb and then the ground, the impact would have been a lot more severe when it hit the house.
The shell came from a historic artillery canon fired at the gun show, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said.

Hey buddy, your damaged home doesn’t trump these guys’ 2A right to fire a canon.

Wait for it — “patriotic” Americans will be clamoring for this weaponry as a means of self-defense … or will it be used for hunting purposes?

Don’t these a-holes know that when you fire something you better make damn sure it doesn’t do any harm?

I read another article about this, and the defense from the people who shot it was “it was pointed in a safe direction.” Um, that shell traveled TWO MILES, you backwoods moron.
Bet that’s the last gun show to ever hire those guys. Really a shame, ain’t it?
