US Has Been Operating Secretly In Somalia Since 2007
Nothing like a little secret troop deployment that nobody knows about. And nothing like continuing the false idea that we can spread “democratic” ideals anywhere on the globe.

Is it irony that the Adchoice block in this story asked me to support the Boeing EA-18G Growler (the plane that’s going to “replace” the EA-6B Prowler)?

This covert operation might be one of George W. Bush’s better foreign policy decisions. It was suspected that a group called al-Shabab was responsible for the embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998.
Al-Shabab had set up headquarters in the failed state of Somalia and had pronounced itself to be an ally of Al Qaeda. I think any President when faced with the scenario of another third world failed state becoming a safe house for people who commit international murders would have to recognize that sending our troops to that failed state must be an option.
Incidentally, here is a fun fact for all you.. Abu Anas al Libi, one of the alleged masterminds of the Kenya and Tanzania embassy bombings was arrested in Libya by US commandos last October 2013. You Obama-haters should note the date and who was sitting in the Oval Office at the time.
Another terrorist that could not be found by the previous administration, is now in custody.
So shove that up your “Worst Presidents” poll

No secret, we’ve been bringing in refugee’s non-stop from Somalia, tens of thousands in several states.
