Anti-abortionists think Planned Parenthood is all about abortion, even though that is a fraction of what they do (and with no taxpayer dollars, thank you very much). Maybe before they scribble out their signs they should know exactly what and where they are protesting.

The new Planned Parenthood location in South Minneapolis provides access to contraception, as well as family planning and sexual health services — and because it can be easily reached by public transit, it can provide those services to many citizens who live outside the immediate community.

The Pro-Life Action Ministries (PLAM), however, targeted the facility anyway, claiming that “[a] Planned Parenthood satellite clinic refers for and promotes abortion to both minors and those of age.” Moreover, the group claims the clinic will provide abortions, saying that “[i]t dispenses the so-called ‘morning after pill,’ which most often causes an early abortion instead of acting as a contraceptive.”…

There is at least one person outside the Richfield facility every day harassing women who attempt to enter the building.

PLAM claimed that its protests are legitimate because the facility dispenses “abortion-inducing drugs,” which is the same fallacious argument cited by the majority in the Hobby Lobby decision.

Science, it’s a thing. Learn it.

Reading reading comprehension is a thing too, but they ignore it. No matter how many times one tries to explain to these ignorant pro-birth-ers what planning to be a parent means, it comes up as meaning ‘murdering babies’. Go figure, since most in these groups would just assume treat actual living children (like at our southern border) as an inconvenience, with a few of them wanting to get extreme with them.

And, no problems about killing doctors and clinic staff, along with patients. Terrorists, all.

do they also volunteer at an orphanage?

    • m2old4bs August 1st, 2014 at 7:08 pm

Seriously, their time would be better spent at the orphanage, or at a head start school, or at a children’s hospital.

better question would be, how many children have any of them adopted or fostered that are unwanted and abused? how many times have they got together and cooked meals to help feed families with children who can’t afford a decent meal? -0- is my quesstimate.

      • tiredoftea August 1st, 2014 at 9:24 pm

They prefer going to other countries to adopt.

These idiots need to get a hobby and get their noses out of women’s ovaries.

If there really were murder going on there, why is that one smiling so broadly? Shouldn’t they both have very serious expressions?

Now, we shouldn’t be too quick to pass judgement on these protesters. They probably had to endure great hardship on their way to the clinic. Who know? They may have encountered trouble dragging their cumbersome photo shopped signs over an inconsiderate, lazy homeless vet, maybe they tripped over a few hungry brats foraging in dumpsters for food. Maybe grandma, struggling to carry her measly groceries home, wasn’t moving fast enough for these good Christian folks, costing precious time that could have been spent terrorizing women in crisis.

Set up a pro-choice protest at the door of a pro-life meeting center or sponsoring church. See how long they tolerate it. Exactly, not long. You may need armed protection to survive the wrath. As with most any issue when the shoe is on the other foot, and turn-about is fair play, much can be learned.
