Computer Screenshot Sells For $90,900 On Ebay
A ridiculous computer screenshot piece of artwork has sold for $90,900 on eBay. The anonymous poster on 4chan wrote: “Art used to be something to cherish. Now literally anything could be art. This post is art.”
According to News Channel 5, when the screenshot was captured of this “art,” YouTubers began the bidding at $500, which eventually maxed at $90,900.
If anyone is interested, I have eleventy thousand screenshots works of art on my computer.Also, I have a box of crayons if you want me go all professional artist on you.

There are already knock-offs available. It’s nothing but a gimmick and will have no lasting value, it’s just way to easy to replicate.

Oh goody, a chance to trot out the Mike Batt story again!
Composer Batt put a track on one of his records called “A Minute of Silence” for a lark, which was exactly that, and hijinks ensued when the John Cage Estate sued for copyright infringement. Best comment came from Mike’s Mum: Which minute are they saying you stole?, and Mike himself: I was able to say in only one minute what took him more than four and a half to say, and besides, my silence is digital, which sounds way better than his crummy analog silence.
Everyone freaked when it was announced that Batt had settled out of court with a six-figure check to the Cage Foundation.
But it was all a gag, actually. Batt would later spill the beans, saying that although true that a suit had been filed, it was immediately withdrawn based on its lack of actual merit, but the litigants decided to have a little fun with it anyway, and raise awareness of copyright issues, as well as glom a little free publicity.
And that six-figure check? £1,000.00. which Mike points out actually is six figures if you count the zeroes after the decimal point. Oh that Mike Batt, always a laff riot.

Here’s how the Cage piece is described: The content of the composition is not “four minutes and 33 seconds of silence,” as is sometimes assumed, but rather the sounds of the environment heard by the audience during performance.
If that’s the case, Cage couldn’t really be considered the composer, could he?

If you wanted to blow $90,000, buy turkeys for poor people for Christmas.
Pay off some terribly unlucky poor person’s debt.

I’m sorry. as rich as you are, there’s way better things to do with that money. This dumbass might already be rich……maybe wasteful…buys a car $45 car and blows the other $45 on a week long binge with coke and hookers.
