Rep. Louis Gohmert: Obama Listening To Muslim Brotherhood’s Advice Not To Harm Isis
Of course, this makes no sense, since President Obama already bombed ISIS.
[su_center_ad]
Appearing on SiriusXM’s “The Wilkow Majority,” Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) argued, “if you’re Commander-in-Chief you can’t be listening to Muslim brother advise on when it’s time to stop destroying Muslim brothers.”
The comments was a reference to the Texas congressman’s theory that the U.S. government has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, a group that Egypt recently opted to reclassify as a terrorist organization. In 2012, Gohmert joined a small group of conservative lawmakers led by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) to demand that the Inspectors General of four government agencies investigate “deep penetration” by the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. government. The Obama administration condemned the lawmakers for using false and inaccurate information to smear “anyone that happens to be Muslim.”
Gohmert, who had previously claimed that the organization also caused the administration to bungle the investigation into the 2013 Boston bombings, went on to argue that “six top advisers to President Obama are Muslim brothers.” “These are the advisers who have open doors for them to the president himself,” he said. “This is the kind of stuff that has to stop if we’re really going to deal with radical Islam.”[su_sky_ad]

Louie maybe you ought to go over to the Senate and talk to McCain. ISIS is McCain buddy. http://a.disquscdn.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/1237/4873/original.jpg

Oh look, there’s Sarah’s Johnny … all surrounded by henchmen .. OOPS his good buddies!!!!

Gohmert is full of Shiite. The air raids President Obama ordered have done a pretty good job of icing ISIS. I’d say the actions taken by the president have been spot on.

To be sure this POTUS is a bad ass sending Seal Teams on rescue and assassination missions.

The New McCarthyism.

Dumber than the old McCarthyism.

another fine example of the leadership of the pristine WHITE Anglo master race.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:48 pm
I don’t think he’s white. Is there an actual category for “pasty”?
William August 21st, 2014 at 11:16 am
I stopped taking anything this nut had to say as serious back when he tried to link gun magazine limits to bestiality and gay marriage. One thing is for sure, teabaggers didn’t have to go far to find someone as crazy as Bachmann.

Interesting how they all focus on BESTIALITY … must be on the GOP plank again this year. Or they are all speaking from personal experience.

STUPIDEST HUMAN IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!!!
edmeyer_able August 21st, 2014 at 1:16 pm
I don’t know, they have a lot of candidates vying for that title. To republicans the phrase “Could you be any dumber” is taken as a challenge.
tiredoftea August 21st, 2014 at 2:12 pm
Louie, the “Apparently Human Waste of Existence” is the long standing leader in the category and “bests” all challengers for his consistently idiotic pronouncements every time he opens his mouth.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:47 pm
I don’t think he is even human waste. He’s just garbage. My cats feces are smarter than him.

As soon as a read there was meeting including gohmert and bachman, I knew thr results would be dumfounding. Anyone else who would participate in this “Mensa” meeting automatically looses 50 IQ points and any credibility.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:46 pm
I don’t think they even SHARE 50 IQ points. She’s been married to a gay man for over 20 years and doesn’t know it. And he’s just a babbling racist idiot.
Denise August 21st, 2014 at 1:16 pm
Bachmann may have retired, but we still have this numb skull
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:45 pm
She’s still piloting her broom around the House until November, spreading toxic disease and Republican lies.
She really should take Marcus to a reparative gay therapy clinic .. it’d give her something to do in her spare time.
Maxx44 August 21st, 2014 at 2:46 pm
A modern day McCarthy who could not possibly name “six top advisers to President Obama (who) are Muslim brothers.” He will end up on Faux News since he is so good at making shit up.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:44 pm
He couldn’t name 6 people who work for the Administration period. HIs mama should have told him to be careful when he opens his mouth because he shows the world how dumb he is.
LibertyForAll August 21st, 2014 at 9:43 pm
From Egyptian magazine:
“The six named people include: Arif Alikhan, assistant secretary of Homeland Security for policy development; Mohammed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council; Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference; Salam al-Marayati, co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC); Imam Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA); and Eboo Patel, a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.”

They have their minds made up.
Bunya August 21st, 2014 at 2:46 pm
That’s just stupid talk. Everybody knows President Obama receives his foreign policy advise, telepathically, from Walt Disney.
mfr4 August 21st, 2014 at 2:57 pm
Who are the 6 top advisers? What’s the evidence? 2 simple questions that even Jimmy Olson, cub reporter would ask. Somebody please hold these dolts to account for their statements.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:43 pm
This man has NO brain. He is all mouth – and every time he opens it, garbage pours forth.
Like most cons, he makes comments, makes allegations, levels charges but he has no facts to back up anything he says.
LibertyForAll August 21st, 2014 at 3:47 pm
From AFSIdotorg
Arif Alikhan – Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Mohammed Elibiary – Homeland Security Adviser.
Rashad Hussain – Special Envoy to the (OIC) Organization of the Islamic Conference.
Salam al-Marayati – Obama Adviser, founder of Muslim Public Affairs Council and its current executive director.
Imam Mohamed Magid – Obama’s Sharia Czar, Islamic Society of North America.
Eboo Patel – Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.
BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 3:50 pm
I don’t know about the rest of you, but THIS guy in particular sounds like a REAL RADICAL … and someone to be afraid of … didn’t Dubya start the whole faith-based initiative stuff?
Eboo Patel – Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.
OMG he is dangerous – he went to (gasp) OXFORD .. hotbed of Islamic radicals.
mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 4:34 pm
Not all Muslims are in the Muslim Brotherhood. My guess is none of the six you site are members. If you have proof please provide such.
LibertyForAll August 21st, 2014 at 9:40 pm
You can Google it. But you won’t. Keep your head in the sand. Many foreign nations, including Egypt, have claimed this. If you find an official Muslim Brotherhood membership online, let me know.
mea_mark August 22nd, 2014 at 10:02 am
You are the one inferring they are or were in the brotherhood not me. Back it up or not I don’t care. Just don’t expect to be taken seriously on anything if you don’t defend your point of view. Your all talk with no proof so far.
majii August 21st, 2014 at 6:22 pm
Hmmm. Two things. First, the word “czar” has been in use since Reagan’s administration. Use of the word was OK until this president entered office. Is there something that occurred which now makes the use of the word czar to refer to a head of the federal government take on a different meaning?
Second, Pres. Bush had American Muslims working in his administration, and none of those who are complaining now had a damn thing to say about it. There were no claims that Pres. Bush had members of the Muslim Brotherhood working under him.
Again, I’d like to know why having Muslim-Americans working in a president’s administration is suddenly a reason for questioning a president’s loyalty to America?
tiredoftea August 21st, 2014 at 11:47 pm
Presidenting while black would qualify.
mfr4 August 22nd, 2014 at 5:12 am
Still don’t see any evidence. Sharia czar, what the hell is that?
mmaynard119 August 21st, 2014 at 4:54 pm
Can they reshoot Dr. Strangelove with Gohmert riding the missile?
ChrisVosburg August 21st, 2014 at 4:58 pm
At the very least, put together a “Political Circus” teevee show and shoot him out of a cannon.
majii August 21st, 2014 at 6:15 pm
I continue to be amazed that politicians like Gohmert, who are members of Congress, can appear before the public and pretend that they’re not a part of the government and have people believe them. Gohmert can introduce any bill regarding ISIS, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, etc., that he chooses to, but he doesn’t. Why? Because his schtick is launching complaints and whining about what the president has/hasn’t done. Every American should be asking him/herself why we’re paying any member of Congress who plays the role of an outsider when we know for sure they’re in a position to act on any issue but are too cowardly to do it.
If anyone has noticed what’s been happening recently, s/he would realize that the following pattern has emerged: The president expresses a desire to do a particular thing, the GOPTPers come out and demand that they be given a say on the matter, President Obama gives them an opportunity to weigh in, they run away from the matter as fast as they can. I remember when the president wanted to use military strikes in Syria that Boehner demanded Congress weigh in on the matter. President Obama said, “Okay, do it.” Then, Boehner and his GOPTP buddies suddenly wanted no part in helping to decide whether or not military strikes would occur in Syria. As Steve Benen wrote the other day when he noticed this pattern of behavior, “These politicians won’t be receiving any awards for courage.”
