Scarborough And Associates Blame Obama For The Rise Of ISIS
By the time President Obama was sworn in by the Chief Catholic of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, there was already an agreement made with the Iraqi people. Yet people’s memories are incredibly short as they forget who was responsible for the troop withdrawal.
The Republicans blaming Obama for pulling American troops out of Iraq in 2011 should remember, is that in October 2008 George W. Bush was president when the Status of Forces Agreement was drafted and ratified by Iraqi lawmakers a month later in November 2008. The pertinent part of the agreement that President Obama honored was that, “All the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory no later than December 31, 2011.”

Mike Rogers started the video montage, above, played on “Morning Joe,” from his interview on Meet The Press. Right on cue, he is followed by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) who said ISIS is not a JV team any more as they are the “gold-medal winners” of some contrived Terrorist Olympics. Finally we hear from Graham’s life partner, Senator John “Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran” McCain who blames everything on President Obama who, unlike McCain, does not act with a knee-jerk response by blowing everyone in the Middle East to smithereens. Every person on Sunday Morning GOP TV agrees with Rogers, Graham and McCain, so Morning Joe couldn’t wait to get former CIA chief and endorser of torture in the Bush Administration, Michael Hayden and Shadi Hamid from the Brookings Institute to help condemn President Obama.
Essentially both men blame the rise of ISIS on the absence of a residual ground force in Iraq, which was NOT part of the 2008 agreement signed by George W. Bush. ISIS’s meteoric rise to bad boy of all terrorist jihadi groups is basically the fault of President Obama not having a comprehensive plan to rid the world of ISIS in Syria as well as Iraq. It’s quite funny they’d seek the opinion of John McCain who did not even identify the ISIS group as anything but our rebel friends last year. Perhaps maybe the introspective time President Obama enjoyed while on vacation was spent carefully weighing options and strategies so as not to go in and help the wrong people, as McCain would have done. Thankfully, MSNBC anchor, Thomas Roberts mentions certain ISIS leaders being released from jail in Syria in 2011, where the US couldn’t have done much to combat them in retrospect. Conservatives should never fear with Joe as the piece ended with more subtle digs at the president who can’t win no mater what he does.[su_sky_ad]

It doesn’t matter that the rise of ISIS was the responsibility of the actions by McCain and the GOP, it’s Obama’s fault. The fall of the Roman empire? Obama’s fault. The civil war? Obama’s fault.
On the plus side, at least we now know who killed JFK.

Just as leopards do not change their spots, neo-cons never really change their true identity.
They made hide it well…but in the end, it comes out, plain as day.
Send Joe back to FOX–he’d fit right in there!
And DO NOT bring back Imus!
