Kristol: ‘What’s The Harm Of Bombing [Isis] And Seeing What Happens?’
[su_right_ad]Bill Kristol says that, yeah, bad things happen when we go around bombing places, but that’s just the way it is. So, why not bomb ISIS “for a few weeks” and see what happens?
“Intellectuals overthink things,” he said. “We allied with Stalin in World War II, and helped create the captivity of Eastern Europe, you could argue… We got involved in Afghanistan to bring down the Soviet Union and probably helped create, indirectly, some of what came about in Afghanistan and ideas that led to 9/11. That’s life. Maybe we could have been cleverer in all these cases, but often, when you mess around in the real world, you have unintended effects and some of them are bad.”
However, the neoconservative pundit continued, “We’re underestimating the ability of what the use of force — even from the air, even with some people on the ground to help out — how much that could do.”
After mimicking his fellow talking heads who suggest that perhaps it’s best to have a national debate before using military force, Kristol then said: “What’s the harm of bombing [ISIS] at least for a few weeks and seeing what happens? I don’t think there’s much in the way of unanticipated side effects that could be bad there. We could a lot of very bad guys.”[su_sky_ad]

He is so cavalier about it all. I think some strategic bombing might do some good but careful thought should be put into it. We shouldn’t just go bombing people to see if it will do any good or not. I guess he just wants to bolster the military machine for his crony friends, help the good ole boys make a buck at the expense of some foreigners lives.

Because we wouldn’t be bombing anyone he knows. And it won’t make his taxes go up. His comfortable lifestyle won’t change, and he will sleep just fine, because he won’t even think about it. There, wasn’t that easy?

we shouldn’t be bombing other nations sovereign territory without their consent, either. (it’s what other nations consider an act of war – even if we refer to it as a ‘just wondering what would happen’ moment).

Truthfully, it wouldn’t bother me much if we declared war on Syria so we could go after some really bad people. It doesn’t mean we have to boots on the ground or do carpet bombing. It just means we are giving them fair warning that the sh!t is about to hit the fan.

exactly what some Chinese relatives have been asking. They’re all very proud of the General in charge of National Security and the only one in China who can by his simple command release their entire nuclear arsenal. That is a great honor and position considering his very humble beginnings in their small south central Chinese village.Maybe because his family moved back to the eastern part (where they’re originally from) where the opportunities are much better, still, the pride of the village is “he was made here, he’s from here” and he ain’t a f*ing white Nazi Aryan THUG protected by white racist American Government.

Why is anyone listening to Kristol? He’s a major reason politics in the U.S. are as divisive and bitter as they are today. We should all remember that he was instrumental in convincing McCain to add Palin to his presidential ticket in 2008, and that when McCain chose her, she conducted a scorched earth policy against everyone who opposed her (even McCain to a degree by “going rogue”) by telling lie after lie about them and by peddling a never-ending series of conspiracy theories and propaganda, all meant to portray herself and her supporters as “victims” when they were/are the primary aggressors whose behavior has divided the nation.

Check! – I’m sure they are too stupid to get out of the way, (being that most of them attended colleges and universities in the US and Europe) – and of course everyone trembles in fear when the US shows it’s overpowering strength, like during the white racist FAILED armed attempt in Nevada to drive the Hawaiian POTUS out of the White House, right? watts of luck, as Syria has the right to defend their ‘airspace’ just like other nations.

Sure. What’s the harm in bombing ISIS (and maybe some innocent people)? As long as chickenhawk Kristol is nowhere near the bombing, he’s fine with it. He could be Cheney’s double.
