4 or 5 Open Carry Activists Showed Up At Whole Foods Protest Over Their No-Gun Policy
Open Carry activists held a protest at a Texas-area Whole Foods store on Saturday after finding a sign outside one of the stores which states the store forbids firearms. The protest was about what you probably imagined. There must have been a half dozen of them at the store. I’m being generous. I’m not sure there were even that many.
This ammosexual brought his lawn chair just in case he got lucky. The protest reportedly lasted an entire 30 minutes.
[su_center_ad]Look, he’s waving at you which means he’s probably lonely out there all by himself. Don’t we all need a hug?
It’s flag desecration time.
For obvious reasons, Law Enforcement officials moved the HUGE amount of protesters away from the mall area where Whole Foods is located and they wound up in the middle of the highway.
This just looks pathetic.
After a good 30 minutes of standing up for our rights to bear arms, these fellers took a mosey on down the road.
They sure showed us a thing or two. Maybe these gun rights activists attention whores should try Match.com. They could try ReaganBook.com but that site didnt’t work out so well either.
Big thanks to my friend for the pictures. I’ll keep his or her name anonymous because these old buzzards like to make hell for anyone (especially us womens) who report on their LOL antics.[su_sky_ad]

What did the protesters actually accomplish here besides a photo op? Nothing. Should have been at a gun range shooting their frustrations out!
Larry StCroix September 1st, 2014 at 12:05 am
Oh no, no gun range, there you have to use your ammo! Do you have any idea how expensive it is and how hard to get now the gummint is buying it all?
edmeyer_able August 31st, 2014 at 8:13 am
I’d love to see the battle they wage each week as they try to decide between buying more rounds or pork rinds and beer.

Those are metaphorical cookies, they don’t have the grey matter needed to digest them.

Unfortunately A-100, Louie, Louie, oh no, he gotta go wasn’t smart enough to think of that one. That gem was from the fertile ignorant racist mind of Rep. Steve King of Iowa.

TABC regulations banning firearms where alcohol is sold extends to the parking area of the business as well. That is probably why they hit the road.

Why do these assholes think it’s appropriate to carry their phallic weapons every fucking place they go? And why don’t they understand that corporations have the right to prohibit the carrying of weapons in their businesses, just like they can require you to wear shoes and shirts? If every single business in Texas had a no guns policy, the gun fondlers would still be able to carry them in their cars, outside, at the range.
MIAtheistGal August 31st, 2014 at 9:03 am
Thought this was appropriate
MIAtheistGal August 31st, 2014 at 9:04 am

What they need is about 3 or 4 black men with assault weapons joining them. That would be interesting.
Larry Schmitt August 31st, 2014 at 9:10 am
Then they wouldn’t be overweight anymore, they’d be running from the black men.
Mainah August 31st, 2014 at 9:17 am

raincheck August 31st, 2014 at 11:19 am
Do they come in “camo”
raincheck August 31st, 2014 at 11:29 am
Or 3 or 4 men wearing turbans and black masks… You can only get away with “open carry” if your dressed properly, and your the right color… would be interesting if the different groups of people, all showed up at the same location at the same time! hmm
whatthe46 August 31st, 2014 at 6:38 pm

Mainah August 31st, 2014 at 9:00 am

Happy Sunday.

Mid life crisis Mainah, longing to recapture the virility they never had…..And they can’t afford a Corvette convertible and forget the hot blonde, absolutely no chance in hell of that.
Mainah September 2nd, 2014 at 6:45 am
In the age of images and cell phones … one would think they would opt for a less long lasting sense of embarrassment while going through this “mid life” crisis thing for the sake of their children. Because my boy laughed wicked hard at this!
Mainah August 31st, 2014 at 9:14 am
Okay … is just driving me crazy. I live in Maine. I’ve owned guns. Albeit, I got rid of them once I had my first born. I won’t take that chance of an accident. When they get older, they will take a hunter safety course but they don’t have to hunt if they don’t want to. I told them if they aren’t going to eat the meat then why kill the animal? That’s just my personal opinion. Apparently, open carry did pass here in 2006 but no one friggin’ does it. The only time we see guns, is in November. Hunting season where everyone is fashionable dressed in Blaze Orange blazers, hats and gloves. Including the pets. (I’ve seen people from away try to bring a cow and a horse to a weigh station. Those people scare us.)
Now just imagine your in Whole Foods doing your shopping and just say some guy goes to rob it. Would you want the guy in photo 2 to be in there with a gun also? No. Why would I want some nut who isn’t trained to whip out a gun and start firing? WTF??
crap. I’m kinda grumpy today.
Larry Schmitt August 31st, 2014 at 9:25 am
Sometimes having a weapon can get you unwanted attention. Remember when those two rejects from the Bundy ranch killed the two cops in the pizza place, then went to the Walmart? One bystander started to go for his gun, the woman shot him. No gun, he probably would be alive. We have enough trouble with “trained” cops with weapons, we don’t need half the population armed. There was an incident in Times Square a year ago, cops shot at a suspect several times, missed him, hit two bystanders. The suspect was unarmed. What happens if a bunch of civilians pull out their guns?
edmeyer_able August 31st, 2014 at 9:29 am
Seriously If I couldn’t afford an AR or couldn’t pass a BC I’d wait in the parking lot for 1 of these idiots to come out and relieve him of his with a knife.
raincheck August 31st, 2014 at 11:43 am
“We have enough trouble with “trained” cops with weapons”
FACT: ‘Most’ of the bullets Police fire, MISS their target in a gun fight. Shooting at UN-armed paper targets… is easy
Bob Nelson September 1st, 2014 at 9:12 pm
Cops are taught and trained to EMPTY their weapon, reload and if necessary continue firing and reloading. Only on TV does theHero fire one shot and take out the bad guy. This is why you read of 5 cops shooting 137 rounds at a suspect and hitting him once. And they get free ammo paid for by the Police Department to practice with.
Bob Nelson September 1st, 2014 at 9:07 pm
I taught my son and daughter to shoot a rifle (as I was, in theMarine corps i.e Its not a troy, you don’t play with it) when they were teens. I did it not because I wanted them to love guns but to respect and understand the power to kill that they have. I was afraid the temptation of a gun in the house would cause them to want to check it out on their own. They could see the result when I brought a deer home in hunting season, and then the work involved in cleaning and butchering it out. Now in their thirties they have no interest in guns, and since I no longer hunt I no longer have one in the house.

The Whole Foods in Oklahoma City is on our list of places to shop BECAUSE they ban guns.
Larry Schmitt August 31st, 2014 at 11:18 am
Is it hard to find places in OKC that don’t allow guns?
okieggma August 31st, 2014 at 12:31 pm
No, it is not hard…..all the malls, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Homeland Groc., most restaurants, establishments aimed primarily at children…movies….Target….Kohls….most of them have the signs posted that ban guns. Mothers in OK made such a stink about shopping with guns around that they were forced to.
Mouse of Evil August 31st, 2014 at 9:41 pm
It was hard for a while in Tulsa, but then Sprouts and Fresh Market came to town. The big grocery store here, Reasor’s, was originally planning to ban guns, but the gun nuts whined about it and they backed down. As a result, my Reasor’s trips, which used to be about $100 every week, are down to about $30 a week, while I regularly spend $100 at Sprouts–it’s not that much more expensive, but there’s just a lot more good stuff to tempt me, AND no guns. Win/win for me.
mcalleyboy October 9th, 2014 at 10:12 pm
Criminals and mental health challenged individuals will thank you also for not preparing for a bad event, sad you probably take better care of your vehicle then you do your life. Don’t take away our right to carry concealed, I could care less about defending anyone else and will be taking care of number 1 and my own family.

There were so many signs of ignorance in this country after bush was elected but I thought we’d fix it because it was so obvious.
However, it’s gotten even worse because the liars and thieves understand not underestimating the stupidity of the American people.
atunionbob August 31st, 2014 at 4:06 pm
Every one of these “NUTS” has never been in a Whole foods. Almost all who shop there are thin, healthy, and svelte. Where as these guys….are fat, obese, ignorant, uneducated, and above all mentally challenged.
ChrisVosburg August 31st, 2014 at 4:48 pm
I note one of the signs carried implores me to “remember Lubys,” so I did, even though one of the other signs says “criminals don’t obey signs.”
The perpetrator of the Luby’s Cafeteria massacre of 1991 was George Hennard, a thirty-five-year old disgruntled loser, with more anger than brains. If this is starting to sound familiar, consider that he was also the following:
Unemployed (check)
Racist (check)
Sexist (check)
Misogynist (check)
Gun enthusiast (check, jeez, a Glock 17 and a Ruger P89)
Gummint hater (check)
White guy (although not particularly doughy, but then again, he was only thirty-five, a few more years of six-packs of tall boys on the porch would have seen to that eventually).
In other words, boy woulda fit right the hell in with the Open Carry Clown Posse.
whatthe46 August 31st, 2014 at 6:19 pm
exactly what type of criminal clientele are they expecting to run into in Whole Foods? “Where’s my tofu Bitch?!”
majii August 31st, 2014 at 6:20 pm
They’re bullies. I would surmise that most of them who protested yesterday don’t buy much of anything at Whole Foods. I think someone probably passed by the store, saw the sign and decided to make an issue of it.
whatthe46 August 31st, 2014 at 6:29 pm
exactly. just outright ignorant.
Mouse of Evil August 31st, 2014 at 9:34 pm
I’m pretty sure Whole Foods has *always* banned guns. At any rate, it’s been on my list of places I can shop safely for a few years. My guess is that the signs have been up, but the OCT crowd just recently noticed them. Maybe one of them finally learned how to read.
majii August 31st, 2014 at 6:19 pm
What a stupid sign: “The state trusts your customers, why don’t you?”
This guy has to have a major problem if he doesn’t understand that when a guy like him shows up in a business, customers don’t know whether he’s the good guy with a gun or the bad guy with a gun.
Sheesh, a five year old could probably figure out why some people are alarmed at seeing individuals walking around with guns/weapons which can wipe out 20-30 people in less than a minute.
Ron January 25th, 2015 at 1:52 pm
Everyone is a good guy until they commit a crime. That’s kind the point of the Second Amendment. Hopefully you’ll figure it out soon, as record numbers of people are carrying now, and the numbers are just going to increase as time progresses.

“Aamosexual”….I don’t get that but then again the signs outside the Colorado theater also mentioned no weapons allowed… hey maybe there’s something to this or its best to stand and talk to the mental health challenged individual and remind him that he’s in a “Gun free zone”, dugh!
Larry Schmitt September 1st, 2014 at 8:45 am
“Aamosexual” Small wonder that you “…don’t get that…” Can’t even figure out how to copy/paste. And can’t even spell duh.
ShelleysLeg September 1st, 2014 at 8:45 am
I especially like the hand written poster that says ‘criminals don’t obey signs’ JUST like they are demonstrating by ignoring Whole Foods posted notices.
mcalleyboy October 9th, 2014 at 10:51 pm
The laws are clear in most states if you (this is about carrying concealed) have a carry concealed weapons permit, your allowed to carry it but these stores try to block this practice, trouble is that they can’t and they also can’t have you arrested for anything, they can ask you to leave. All bad happenings have one thing in common, nobody has bothered to carry their weapon or they don’t believe in protecting their life, trouble is that it’s flawed thinking and it don’t work, same with those gun free zones, why not post signs such as don’t steal or don’t act badly in public.
cecilia September 1st, 2014 at 2:03 pm
