At the end of the video reportedly showing the reported execution of David Haines, fellow Brit Alan Henning, also a humanitarian aid worker, is shown.

The man who could be next on the ISIS kill list is a British aid worker who went to the Middle East to help refugees in northern Syria — and who thought just months ago that the militants would release him because he was on a mission of mercy.

Alan Henning was threatened at the end of a video released Saturday that shows the execution of fellow Brit David Haines…

“Henning was told not (to go into) Syria… but insisted on going in b/c he had put in so much time and effort in the project,” wrote Hussein, who said he investigated Henning’s disappearance for NBC News earlier this year. “Henning wanted to make sure aid reached the intended. Henning was genuinely trying to help the Syrian refugee crisis — nothing more. People spoke very highly of him.”[su_csky_ad]

Time for PM Cameron to quit shooting his mouth off and man up!

    • granpa.usthai September 14th, 2014 at 1:03 pm

PM Cameron knows that being part of bombing expeditions that will most likely leave a number of Syrian civilian casualties will not bode well for British/Syrian relations. However, being that Iraq has no problem with their civilians be bomb fodder, might I suggest the US do the bombing inside Syria while Britain does the bombing in Iraq?

“However, being that Iraq has no problem with their civilians be bomb fodder….”

        WTF?

Like all the media, Alan is being played by ISIS. They didn’t become famous when they
murdered and even crucified thousands of their fellow Syrians and Iraqis, but by choosing a victim with a US or British passport and murdering them in a similar way they can push even the Kardshians off the front page. That’s exactly what they want, so they can recruit more jihadis to their cause, it’s a tactic as old as guerrilla
    warfare.
    http://www.media-politicians-should-stop-letting-isil-manipulate-them

This article falls for it, gives them the air time they’re after, even publishes their
advertisement at the top. ISIS gets top billing, and Alan Henning ceases to be the “humanitarian aid worker who volunteered to aid Syrian refugees”, he becomes just a “a guy ISIS beheaded”. Does he have a family, a wife, children? Did he want to go to Syria? We don’t know, but we know all about what these terrorists want us to know. We’re being pwned.

Anomaly refuses to play their game when she says
”I’ve decided to remove the picture with the militant standing over Mr.
Haines. We should remember Mr. Haines as a brave and kind man, not as
an instrument that ISIL used to instigate a war.”

Or used to sucker us into instigating the war they want.

A picture of the victim in happier times with family would probably be better if a picture needs to in the article. The story does need to be covered, we just need to do a better job of doing it.

      • granpa.usthai September 14th, 2014 at 1:05 pm

I like the family pictures better. One only need look at the US Southern border to see masked terrorist, and as the saying will go, ‘once you’ve seen one masked terrorist, you’ve seen them all’.

    • NMAXXS September 14th, 2014 at 1:08 pm

“Or used to sucker us into instigating the war they want.”

The question is, who wants it. I find it hard to believe that ISIS wants to be bombed out of existence.

Have we learned anything from the lies that led to our invasion of Iraq?

      • uzza September 14th, 2014 at 1:23 pm

Like the US bombed the Viet Cong out of existence?
like the Russians bombed the Mujahideen out of existence?
like the US bombed Al Queda out of existence, and the Taliban?
like Israel bombed Hamas out of existence?

To answer your question, obviously not.
