Bank In Kroger Store Held Up By Man Wearing Skeleton Mask, Brandishing Semi-Auto Gun
Cincinnati Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Fifth Third Bank inside a Kroger store. The suspect wore a skeleton mask, carried an umbrella and brandished a semi-automatic handgun at the teller, demanding cash.
[su_center_ad]The robbery took place around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the branch location at 2310 Ferguson Road, according to Cincinnati.com.
The man stole an undetermined amount of cash, then placed the money in a black nylon bag with white letters and fled the bank.
Police say the man is believed to have fled toward the rear of the adjacent Wal-Mart store.
Just to make an unbiased point (I joke), he could be this open carry Kroger shopper:
He could be anyone. Seriously, Krogs (I can call you Krogs, right?), maybe you should look through your surveillance footage because your new clientele looks pretty suspicious.
Like this nice gentleman.
Kroger doesn’t allow skateboards, shirtless shoppers or kids eating an ice cream cone, but an armed man wearing a skeleton mask slips past their radar. Maybe he was just blending in.
Safety for Kroger’s shoppers should be a thing, but I don’t want to stomp on anyone’s rights to totally freak the public out.
Big thanks to my source for the link. [su_csky_ad]

I guess krogers will have to ban umbrellas now.
Pilotshark October 16th, 2014 at 3:52 pm
what happens if its an open carry umbrella?
M D Reese October 15th, 2014 at 6:58 pm
Oh golly gee! Who could have seen this coming!?
Mainah October 15th, 2014 at 7:05 pm
Not the open carry people. Their long rifles must have blocked their view.
Abby Normal October 15th, 2014 at 7:02 pm
Official NRA position: It takes a GOOD open-carry Kroger shopper with a gun to stop a BAD open-carry Kroger shopper with a gun.
Pilotshark October 16th, 2014 at 3:51 pm
Well it must take a good gun with a gun and a ski mask to stop a open carry bad guy with a gun and a skeleton mask?
Mainah October 15th, 2014 at 7:04 pm
BWAAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAAAAA!!!! Oh, and did I mention …. BWAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!! Karma, you’re not a bitch …. you just give to the deserving. XD

New name for open-carry Kroger shoppers: Kroglodytes
mea_mark October 15th, 2014 at 7:08 pm
A+ for that.
Foundryman October 15th, 2014 at 7:18 pm
Ooooooo…That is really good Abby!!!…
mea_mark October 15th, 2014 at 7:12 pm
Invite them and they will come. The shoppers boycott and the gun nuts come, what a horrible business decision.
GreatLakeSailor October 15th, 2014 at 7:34 pm
Stockers to Oreo aisle, please…Stockers to Oreo aisle. All other personnel stay calm and file out of the store. That is all.

OH, that’s why none of them were there to save the day. The last package of Oreos needed an armed escort. I see.

Real Muirkins I see….we really need to give this country back to the indigenous Natives who were here before redneckitis arrived.

whats really scary is that guy on the far right wearing that bowl of soup hat in Texas.
or is that a real gun carrying Texan in his 1/2 gallon hat. it would seem he is a few pints short.
GreatLakeSailor October 16th, 2014 at 3:53 pm
Hell, they’re all on the far right!
The guy is a trilbilly.
StoneyCurtisll October 15th, 2014 at 7:15 pm
Will that be paper or plastic?

“Just to make an unbiased point (I joke), he could be this open carry Kroger shopper:” well Anamoly100, you may joke, but i’m not so sure you’re wrong. i look at this 2 ways. 1 HA! and 2, kroger should be happy that their idiot gun toters weren’t there (you know the ones excercising their rights to carry) because they likely would have had a war zone there with innocent shoppers being killed. krogs opened the door for this to happen and i’m not sorry for them.
Anomaly 100 October 15th, 2014 at 7:24 pm
So, you’re saying that a little crossfire could actually hurt or kill their shoppers? Who knew!
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 9:17 pm
just sayin’. lol

You sweet talker you. I was pregnant with youngest and had two toddlers. I didn’t do a lot of celebrating.
Foundryman October 15th, 2014 at 7:23 pm
It’s curious there is even a bank branch inside a store that allows untrained armed people to roam around in the first place. They are just asking for trouble..
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 9:16 pm
i didn’t know krogs had a bank within its stores. that makes about as much sense as taking a bath with a fricken cat. and no, i’ve never tried. lol.
edmeyer_able October 15th, 2014 at 7:27 pm
Police say the man is believed to have fled toward the rear of the adjacent Wal-Mart store.
—————————————————————————————————————-
Riskiest part of this hold-up was the robber going into Wal-mart, he might have been shot there if someone had thought to call the police and report a scary looking guy w/agun.
Seriously how f’n sad that this guy robs a bank and gets away while an innocent man is gunned down by police with a stinking BB gun.
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 9:14 pm
now. ain’t that the truth?
Carla Akins October 15th, 2014 at 7:30 pm

whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 9:13 pm
you said it!
kjohnson October 15th, 2014 at 9:41 pm
It is priceless. Priceless at how such a stupid person can write a piece of crap article and people can actually act like it is something good to read.
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 10:06 pm
you. are. a. big. baby. LOL. what’s the matter? the article isn’t made up of lies. unlike you gun nuts who lie that it would be just a peachy idea to carry in a fk’n grocery store. by the way, this is better than good read. its a keeper. as a matter of fact, i’m gonna read it again and smile my happy go lucky a&& off.
kjohnson October 15th, 2014 at 11:03 pm
I used to try and reason with your crowd, but it is casting pearls before swine (that second one is starting to look like it is literal in many cases). The article is made up of some of the most faulty logic ever devised. If you people are too ignorant to realize that a bank robber is not going to care if there is a No Guns sign at the Kroger, then you are beyond hope. It is ALREADY ILLEGAL to go into a BANK with a GUN and rob it. The status of the Kroger is irrelevant.
The fact that this just happens to be the second place from Cincinnati that has been reported on today makes me wonder if some clown from MDA is going out and holding up people at Kroger locations to try and prove a point. Given the fact that a sick goon associated with the Mommies Whining Loudly got a guy killed at a Wal Mart by making a false 911 call, I put nothing past you sick, sorry excuses for human beings.
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 11:50 pm
you are dense. i don’t care what idiot went into krogs to rob the bank, krogs made it easy for someone to feel comfortable walking in without anyone raising a brow. all gurards are down. and that’s a dumb pathetic assumption to think that the moms had anything to do with this. not only are you people paranoid but you specialize in conspiracy theories when there is none. this guy just proved the point of every sane person in this country, one being don’t allow guns in fk’n grocery stores. or anywhere else for that matter where everyday citizens patrionize. dummy.
Julie G October 16th, 2014 at 12:57 am
I followed the Wal-Mart shooting closely, and there have been no reports that Ritchie, the 911 caller, had anything to do with MDA. He likely was a racist that just wanted jollies by watching a black guy get hassled by the police. He was a liar, and even told the media he was an ex-Marine. He actually was booted for a fraudulent enlistment. You probably read that on some gun-rights site. People that spread falsehoods seem to accuse others of what they themselves do; deflection is the term for that tactic.

tracey marie October 15th, 2014 at 10:06 pm
I like some things from kroger, i like the service I receive from my local store. Everyone knows me and new managers are introduced to me. I have funny stories and lot’s of “shopping friends”
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 10:25 pm
there’s no kroger here in s.a. HEB is all they have… lol
tracey marie October 15th, 2014 at 10:31 pm
HEB respects their employees as well as Kroger. I have shopped at the store for over 12 years. We have several nice HEB’s around us. I go for the high end Items and the steaks
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 11:43 pm
same here. about 15 yrs. there’s one HEB that i call the gucci B because they have very high quality foods and meats.
Julie G October 16th, 2014 at 10:41 am
What is HEB? I am not up to speed on grocery retailers. I need to find an alternative to King Soopers (Kroger).

tiredoftea October 15th, 2014 at 10:01 pm
No, we are straight up laughing at the stupidity of open carry clowns who are absent when one of their trolls robs a Kroger’s. Try to keep up, will you?
Carla Akins October 15th, 2014 at 10:02 pm
The photo of the bank robber is provided through the Cincinnati Police, the other photos were left on the Mom Demand Facebook page by MomsDemand opposition. Reading comprehension is a thing.

More info from Moms….
KROGER CUSTOMER HELD AT GUNPOINT: Yesterday in Cincinnati, a 62-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in a Kroger restroom. The armed man, who has not been apprehended, put a gun to the back of the Kroger customer’s head and demanded his money: http://cin.ci/1xP4hG0
whatthe46 October 15th, 2014 at 11:39 pm
i read that. i saw an interview with a customer and i was hoping the reporter would have asked her if she stll felt safe with kroger allowing guns in their stores.
Foundryman October 16th, 2014 at 12:24 am
It’s just a matter of time before something like this happens when there is a wanna be hero gun toter in the oreo aisle. If he can get his gun from around his neck and off his back without shooting himself, everyone else in the store will be in danger of being shot, and not by the robber.
fahvel October 16th, 2014 at 3:59 am
catch him and put him in the slammer!!! The nerve of him going into kgrs with a hand gun! Only machine guns and bazookas are allowed.
