Jeb Bush Tests Campaign Theme By Blasting Clinton
[su_right_ad]As Jeb Bush hits the campaign trail for Republican candidates, it appears as though he’s trying some language that would resonate in a presidential campaign. Attacking Hillary Clinton seems like a clue as to his 2016 intentions.
Speaking in Colorado on Wednesday, Bush took a jab at Clinton for her remarks last week – which she later backpedaled – in which she said “don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.” Without mentioning her name, Bush criticized Clinton’s “breathtaking” comments. He also called her a “candidate,” even though she has yet to declare herself.
“A candidate, a former Secretary of State, who was campaigning in Massachusetts where she said that ‘don’t let them tell you that businesses create jobs,’” Bush said, eliciting boos from the audience.
Of course Bush took the side of business.
“Well, the problem in America today is that not enough jobs are being created. They are created by businesses where people’s income rise where they can live a life of purpose and meaning independent of government. That should be the mission. And the only way that we do that is to create a climate of high sustained economic growth where everybody, everybody in this country has a chance at earned success.”

Wanna know one thing that helps sustain the economy?
Taxes.
Reagan cut them too low.
They needed to be cut, no doubt… a top rate of 90% is abso-f’n-lutely insane.
The top rate just came down too far.
While lower income tax brackets remained too high, comparatively.
It’s like condo association fees.
You pay them so the place gets taken care of.
That, in turn, creates those jobs and makes room, financially, for more jobs.
For instance, infrastructure and the thousands upon thousands of jobs that sector could create alone.
Oh yeah… another oldie but goodie is the export of jobs.
It seems if a business is supposed to create jobs here, they should keep those jobs here.
(Republicans tend to favor allowing companies to continue to use tax inversion and job exportation because… they’re people too? So, Mr. Bush, not the strongest point to be making.)

So true, those who whine about paying taxes are the biggest want-something-for-nothing leeches imaginable.
Living in a civilized nation comes at a price. If they want to do the bootstraps thing, there are plenty of countries with little government, few taxes, and lots of chaos.

good points. ‘Specially transforming a nation from a manufacturing economy (exports = employment inside the USA) vs. a ‘Service’ economy (imports = less employment inside USA). After the destruction of manufacturing base after manufacturing base to bust up UNION labor, the RepubliCONs now want to do the flip flop of the millennium? It’s nothing but the same old mantra – give all the nations wealth to the rich (they know how to make money) and it’ll eventually ‘trickle down’ to the rest of US. Didn’t work in the 1920’s, didn’t work in the 1980’s or the first 8 years of the 21st century, but GOPs still maintain if they just call it (unrestrained GREED) by a different name, it’ll work!

I bet he picks Kasich, given the whole Ohio/Florida thing the last few elections. I don’t think Clinton will have any trouble with Bush. In my humble monkey opinion, their only hope is to pick a charismatic/orator Obama-type.
