Report: Darren Wilson In Talks To Resign; Union Expects No Indictment
[su_thin_right_skyscraper_ad]Just before 11pmEST, CNN’s Anderson Cooper reported that Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed Michael Brown, is in the final stages of negotiations with the Ferguson Police Department to resign, based on CNN’s sources “close to the talks.” A brief summary in CNN’s home page Breaking News banner was all that was known until about 11:10pm:
Wilson maintains he hasn’t done anything wrong, and the resignation talks have hinged on whether a grand jury returns an indictment against him in the death of Brown, people close to the talks said.
Wilson has told associates he would resign as a way to help ease pressure and protect his fellow officers. Wilson has expressed concern about resigning while the grand jury was hearing evidence for fear it would appear he was admitting fault.
Wilson could announce as soon as Friday his plans to resign, the same day a St. Louis County grand jury meets to deliberate and possibly decide on an indictment.
The talks could still collapse, these people said. Wilson doesn’t know what the grand jury will do and if they return charges he could change his mind.
This follows on the heels of a CBS News report that Wilson’s union does not expect the officer to be indicted:
The suburban St. Louis police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown does not appear to expect criminal charges from a Missouri grand jury that has been investigating the case for several months, a police union official said Thursday.
Jeff Roorda, business manager for the St. Louis Police Officers’ Association, said he met Thursday with Ferguson officer Darren Wilson, who has remained secluded from the public eye since the Aug. 9 shooting that sparked tense and occasionally violent protests and drew national attention.
Wilson has been under a lot of pressure and stress but appeared confident in the outcome of the grand jury investigation, Roorda said.
“It’s fair to say that neither he nor his defense team expect an indictment,” Roorda said, offering his impression of the situation based on the meeting with Wilson.

Breaking Klansman Wilson: Killer of unarmed teenage jaywalker Darren Wilson running for Ku Klux Republiklan Grand Cyclops office! Hannity / Megyn Kelly file stunned at their worst nightmere, over their part-time KKK jobs losses.

Would anyone be shocked to learn that Anonymous has discovered evidence that _multiple_ law enforcement officials were associated with and/or sending messages to or from the now-appropriated KKK account? Never mess with a righteous computer geek — or a bunch of them.

Anonymous has a new video out, “we are the law now.” loved it. to the KKK and p.d.
Spirit of America November 21st, 2014 at 5:44 am
So you are endorsing their message?
Keep in mind:
1. this group broke the law pertaining to the p.d. there.
2. they broke the law pertaining to the kkk
As well as if endorsing their statement, you are handing over sovereignty to a group that for the majority of the u.s. public aren’t known and hide?
Now I get the emotional ‘Hurrah, go get ’em’ tug, kind of like a movie… but this is no movie.

Anonymous supposedly “broke the law” pertaining to a terrorist group (the KKK).
Anonymous supposedly “broke the law” pertaining to an >>abusive<>hyperbole<< intended to put the spotlight on the lawlessness of an apparently racist "police force".
Do you have some sort of developmental delay, perhaps undiagnosed?
Spirit of America November 21st, 2014 at 8:44 am
Well now, there is a civil reply ( /s) from a supposed educated individual, albeit full of made up items.
You put ‘broke the law’ in quotes as if it is in question, it is not. DDoS attacks, unauthorized server access and website destruction are felonies, and they admitted to them, but keep in hiding.
“If you want to get all constitutional, this is a representative democracy — we are the law.”
Yes, I do want to get all constitutional, it has worked well for aver 200 years. And we are not the law, it is not how it works. We direct the making of the laws, not the enforcement of(except in certain cases involving citizen arrest, which they did not do, they broke the law). Not to mention, anon is made up of all nationalities, they are not americans enforcing american laws.
“And. like most undereducated Americans, you miss the fact that
Anonymous’ use of the words “We are the law” is
>>hyperbole<< intended to put the spotlight on the
lawlessness of an apparently racist "police force"."
Good lord, talk about being uneducated, you are definitely showing what education you may have received you decided not to employ. That was not 'hyperbole', or if it was they would not have meted out 'punishment' for the actions they deemed(keep in mind, they, not a court of law yet) unlawful. Read up on some of the members, their background and ideology. They believe they are the 'supreme' law in their actions.
"Do you have some sort of developmental delay, perhaps undiagnosed?"
Besides you demonstrating a severe lack of being able to hold a civil & adult(mature) dialog, how would I know if I have if it is undiagnosed?
And I noticed after all your smoke and childish slings, you never answered the question that was posed…
🙂

“Yes, I do want to get all constitutional, it has worked well for aver 200 years.”
It hasn’t worked very well for Michael Brown.
Spirit of America November 21st, 2014 at 12:18 pm
What part of the constitution didn’t work well for him?
RealityBass November 21st, 2014 at 12:23 pm
4th Amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons….” I think that means that agents of the government are not supposed to murder citizens.
Spirit of America November 21st, 2014 at 12:26 pm
It hasn’t been declared murder, it hasn’t been declared anything yet, so it is a bit premature to say the constitution let him down. And if it comes out it is murder, the constitution didn’t let him down, an individual did that.
RealityBass November 21st, 2014 at 12:57 pm
Declaring murder to be not murder would be a perfect example of the Constitution not working.
Spirit of America November 21st, 2014 at 1:25 pm
If that happened, yes. But until all the facts come out, no one can say that it did.
Matt Dillon November 21st, 2014 at 12:36 pm
It didn’t work very well for the merchant at that store either.

Hirightnow November 21st, 2014 at 7:08 am
Certainly!
Can’t accept that job at Fox if you’re still working for the police department….
Suzanne McFly November 21st, 2014 at 7:10 am
So now he will become fox’s go to guy concerning police matters? Maybe even have his own Nancy Grace type of show? Possibilities are endless for a hate filled right wing person who is willing to murder to serve a cause.

Karma knows what happened.

As soon as an announcement is made that he is free, he would have to go back to work to get a pay check. At this point that could be very hazardous. If they indict him he will probably get to stay on paid leave till after a trial.
