[su_right_ad]Bill Cosby’s career continues to implode.

Comedian Bill Cosby and Treasure Island Hotel & Casino said Friday they have called off show scheduled for Nov. 28 at the Las Vegas casino, following public allegations by several women that Cosby had sexually assaulted them decades ago.

Cosby, 77, has never been charged and his lawyers have said the assault claims were “discredited” and “defamatory.” Still, the allegations have dealt a setback to a career comeback for the actor and comedian.

NBC canceled a project in development with Cosby while Netflix postponed a stand-up comedy special.

Cosby is slated to appear at a sold-out show in Melbourne, Florida, Friday and a show in Yakima, Washington, next week.

He performed a comedy show in Nassau, Bahamas, on Thursday.[su_csky_ad]

    They weren’t “discredited”…they were “disappeared”

It is time for Cosby to fade away and hide. All he can do now is take a beating in the public eye, his days are over.

It’s disgusting to see the abuses that can be simply covered up for years by celebrity, power and wealth.

Are you adhering to the principle of Guilty Until Proven Innocent?

This *could* be a situation of abuses being covered up by celebrity, power and wealth. Or it *could* be a situation of underhanded people seeing an opportunity for coercing money out of an innocent man. Or some combination of the two. Don’t let the media prejudice your opinion.

Not one woman or attorney has mentioned money. This allegedly happened decades ago. Kinda hard to believe that almost twenty women would independently decide to come forward at the same time, with the same story, the same details, referencing the same time period. I’m not saying I think he is guilty, but it sure doesn’t look good.

If you turn it around, though, you get an equally compelling argument. In short, one could assert that the striking similarity in the stories and the time period means we should question the veracity of the claims, given that they all suddenly came forward around the same time (not suggesting conspiracy, but copycatting). Personally, I find the earlier, anonymous claims more believable than the sudden rush of public claims. But even if they all sounded highly convincing, I’d still say that we should wait for the claims to be tested in court, or via alternative real avenues (such as proper investigative journalism, not sensationalist media).
