I am curious as to why there was not Armed security guards placed by these businesses. Or for that matter, the national Guard that was supposed to be in place? let them protest, but they should have been contained to the street.

Looks like all they cared about trying to protect was the courthouse and police department. Protect and serve, themselves maybe, not the public.

No kidding…. The one thing I see is people are getting very tired of when this happens. I would not be surprised if you see a defense force of some form established to protect private businesses in the next case.

They would have had to move in w/strong police force/equipment to make it safe for the firemen because of the constant gun fire. And if they had, many people would have just copied/pasted their earlier complaints of too much force.
It was lose-lose for the authorities and the business owners.
I place the blame on those that started the fires, plain and simple, all the blame.

Why the wait, and where were the national guard and police who had been prepared for this for weeks>
Today the Gov sends in more national guard, pretty stupid that they were not there last night.

funny you should be referring to buried bodies, considering the ruling in Florida to prevent unknown bodies to be retrieved at a closed down state reformatory. But – the heart of the Nazis was never about how many crimes against humanity they could commit as it was in being a proud member of the master race. So-aside from 22+ million Russians buried plus the millions of others, I’d say they got the true heart of a true NAZI.

Ok then. I just thought it was funny. I could picture the limp, the crouch grabbing, the sound of a mouth full of marbles, then nothingness the threat has been taken out and normal people can get back to work and such.
I dont care about the cop or the criminal the only thing I care about is the truth and seeing them everyday and knowing that they take more then they give is becoming very old.

A list of evidence in secret Grand Jury court testimony and deliberations does not reveal the spin a Prosecutor puts on each and every item of evidence. The paradox of the Grand Jury in this incident was that, instead of the prosecutor doing his best to indict the accused, we had a prosecutor biased to get the Jury NOT to indict. That would have been the role of a defense attorney in a criminal trial not a prosecutor. Talk about a schizophrenic barrister! That’s what the whole business of prosecutorial bias was all about even prior the the deliberations. Even if McCullough was pure as the driven show, the mere appearance of bias should have been enough to cause him to recuse himself. As I’ve said elsewhere, this fool would rather see a whole town in flames and a country terminally divided than see a (presumed) bad cop held over for a public trial. Justice in Amerika is dead!

You can just picture the self-satisfied supercilious smirk on their lips as they put up the most amoral, depraved, and truly craven commentary about the death of a teenaged boy in America today. Especially when it’s a person of color, the overwhelming sense of what they are conveying is ‘Good riddance to another one of THEM.’ And virtually all of them profess their adherence to ‘good christian values’ at every opportunity. It blows me away how utterly callous and amoral these people really are…..
